CBD Punjab Marks Independence Day with Unity Ride, Flag Hoisting, and Festivities at Route 47

CBD Punjab marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a series of vibrant celebrations filled with patriotic zeal, unity, and community participation. This year’s festivities revolved around the newly inaugurated CBD Route 47, serving as both a tribute to national history and a symbol of modern progress. The celebrations began with a cycling event titled “Ride for Unity”, held on Route 47. Cyclists from Lahore’s local clubs, including men, women, and children, joined the rally symbolizing national solidarity and received enthusiastic participation from citizens across all walks of life. At the finish line, a flag-hoisting ceremony and cake cutting further amplified the patriotic spirit. Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, COO CBD Punjab, graced the event as chief guest and extended warm Independence Day greetings. The Independence Day fervor continued with official ceremonies at the CBD Punjab Complex, where CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin, hoisted the national flag alongside senior management and staff. The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by prayers for Pakistan’s prosperity and unity. Addressing the gathering, Imran Amin highlighted the importance of the day: “On this historic day, we remember the vision, sacrifices, and determination that gave us an independent homeland. CBD Walk Digital Balloting Marks a Milestone in Lahore’s Commercial Evolution

CBD Punjab has successfully conducted the digital balloting for CBD Walk, a premium retail and dining destination in the CBD Quaid District, Gulberg. Held on July 23, 2025, the ceremony utilized advanced digital technology to ensure transparency and investor confidence, drawing stakeholders, senior officials, and media representatives. CBD Walk offers 16 premium 4-Marla commercial units; 8- lake facing and 8- park facing, developed on a Shell & Core model, giving investors the creative freedom to design bespoke interiors. Strategically positioned beside a breathtaking two-acre lake, CBD Walk is destined to become Lahore's premier destination for sophisticated retail experiences and world-class dining adventures. COO CBD Punjab Brig. (R) Mansoor Janjua highlighted the achievement, stating that the transparent balloting reflects CBD Punjab’s commitment to creating extraordinary investment opportunities while setting new benchmarks in urban development. Supported by the authority’s leadership team, the event marked a significant step toward positioning Lahore as a future-forward commercial hub.

CBD Punjab Successfully Completes Infrastructure Development of CBD Route 47

Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) has successfully completed all infrastructure development works on the strategically important CBD Route 47, a major step towards enhancing connectivity, easing traffic congestion and promoting sustainable urban mobility in Lahore. The route will soon be opened for public use. The comprehensive development includes the completion of paintwork on the dedicated cycle lane, in line with CBD Punjab’s vision of promoting environmentally friendly commuting options. All road safety measures have been implemented, including the installation of speed breakers, speed rudders and speed limit signboards, ensuring a secure and regulated traffic environment. In addition, horticulture work has been completed to elevate the visual appeal of the corridor, while the asphalt work and lane marking have been executed to meet the highest standards of urban road infrastructure. CBD Route 47 spans approximately 4 kilometres and features a six-lane (3x3) modern road that connects the CBD Quaid District in Gulberg to the CBD Bab District at Walton Road. This important route is a crucial component of Lahore’s urban transformation, aimed at improving mobility and fostering economic activity in key business hubs. A prominent feature of the project is the six-lane, 912-meter-long flyover constructed over the Walton Railway Crossing. CBD Punjab Completes Walton Road Upgradation Project – A Milestone in Urban Transformation

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, has successfully completed the upgradation of Walton Road, covering a stretch of 4.5 kilometres. The project marks a significant step towards modernizing Lahore’s urban infrastructure and improving the daily commute for thousands of residents. As part of the upgradation, a newly installed inaugural monument now stands as a symbol of progress at Walton Road. Out of the five planned overhead pedestrian crossing bridges, two have been installed, with the remaining three nearing completion. The service roads on both sides have undergone complete asphalt work and are now fully operational. Key features of the project include state of the art sewerage system, diversion of ADA Nullah, Major Ishaq Shaheed flyover, the installation of lane markings, modern LED street lights, directional signboards and the development of green belts and horticulture, giving the road a fresh and vibrant look. These enhancements have not only improved the visual appeal of the area but have also significantly contributed to road safety and traffic flow. The residents of Walton Road have expressed their appreciation for the transformation, noting a visible improvement in their daily routines and quality of life. CBD Punjab Continues Winning Streak with Another Record-Breaking Auction

Building on the resounding success of its previous auctions, the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has once again demonstrated its commitment to transformative urban development by concluding another highly successful auction of premium residential plots in CBD NSIT City. Held under the banner of NSIT Residencia, an exclusive residential enclave within Pakistan’s first and largest IT city, the auction showcased four residential plots, each approximately 4.5 kanals in size. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from both local and international investors, reflecting growing market confidence in CBD Punjab’s strategic development vision. The latest auction resulted in a significant investment of 2.288 billion, strengthening CBD Punjab’s position as a driver of economic growth and sustainable urbanization in the province. A total of 186 bids were submitted during the auction, underlining the rising demand for high-value residential properties within this state-of-the-art development. Each plot offered during the auction received considerable attention. Plot R-02-05 was successfully sold to Zameen Developments for 464.38 million, achieving a highest bid of 107 million per kanal. Plot R-02-06 was awarded to Umar Safdar at a price of 614.44 million, while Plot R-02-07 was secured by Zameen Developments for 619 million.
